So many people, including Christians, live their lives filled with anxiety. Here are a few steps to bring CALM* to your life:

C – Consider the bigger picture. God knows best and sees the beginning and the end. Ultimately, all things work together for good for those who love God (Romans 8:28).

A – Acknowledge and trust the Almighty God. Do not rely on your own insight. Then God will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

L – Look for the lessons as you move forward. Don’t be like Lot’s wife and keep looking backward (Genesis 19:26).

M – Make a point to praise God in all circumstances – even those uncomfortable, unwanted ones (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

When I get discouraged by world or life events, I give it to God by praying:

“ Lord, I don’t know why these things are happening but I know you’re in charge and I trust you, my Rock and my Salvation. Amen.”
