Get Involved: Join a Ministry Team
Use your gifts to serve God by serving others on a ministry team. Everyone is welcome to serve and everyone is needed. We have a variety of ministry teams in need of volunteers to share their time, energy, and talents on Sundays and throughout the week. We are especially seeking the following:
Greeters – We like to have friendly faces greet parishioners as they enter the church on Sunday mornings, give them a bulletin and help orient people to the building – they give directions to the rest rooms, to the sanctuary, and to the nursery (if needed). One important thing to do is to make sure that guests sign the Guest book and provide any information available about the church.
Lock-Up Volunteers – Someone must always be the last person out! This is for volunteers to sign-up to lock up the church after services on Sunday mornings. The job entails locking doors, making sure thermostats are set back to normal settings, turning off lights or other appliances that may have been used that day. They must also turn the Alarm system on before exiting the building.
